He claimed that he was related to Sam HOUSTON, but from the information I have of his HOUSTON line, it doesn't look like it connects with Sam. Nell was born 11 Jan 1893 in Colliston, LA and d. Nov 1977 in Waterproof, LA. They had the following children: John Stephen (m. Irene ?), Max Thompson (married Anne ?), Charles Lee, Peggy Sue (m. Robert LEE), Claire Patterson (m. Hilma KEYES), David Wallace, Robert Kenneth and Rosemary Louise. (I did not include birthdates because I'm not sure which ones are still alive, and I only have a few tentative dates). Chennault remarried in the 1940s to Anna CHEN. They had two daughters: Claire Anna and Cynthia Louise. I have no other information about these girls. Mrs. Anna CHENNAULT was mentioned in a book about the Watergate Hotel. Second Generation 2.
