Hello! I'm still researching the line of John Matlock THOMASON (b. 1821 in Hall Co., GA), married in Hall Co., GA to Ladocia (or Theadocia) FAUCETT (various spellings). Ladocia possibly was born in the 1820s in SC. John and Ladocia moved to northwest Arkansas in the early 1850s where she died. John remarried to Sarah HOOD SPEERS and wound up in Labette Co., KS, where they both died and are buried. I'm particularly seeking information on the FAUCETT line: who were Ladocia's parents and where did they live in South Carolina (if that's accurate)? There might be a connection to Laurens County or District in SC. Also, I'm wondering about the "Matlock" middle name of my John M. THOMASON -- sounds like someone's surname to me.
