It has been awhile since I have asked about my Robert. I first run into mention of him in a book called "History of Sebree" by Louise P. Fleming. Sebree is a city in Webster County, KY. Robert was born about 1780 and left VA for KY about 1816 when he purchased land from a Joseph Towles. This land started at and included the Old Bethel Cemetery and ran along the Henderson/Hopkins county lines. The only known child of his is James Aaron Thomas born 1806 in VA. There is an Owen Thomas whom I have often thought may be a brother, but have found no evidence to substantiate it. Owen has been found in the same area as James.
