I am currently helping with research into the descendants of the above Cornish Civil Engineer, who was well-known in Cornwall for his work on the Liskeard-Looe link line, the development of the Hannafore Estate, and other projects. He had three children; Philippa Mrs Scrooby (born 1860) Mary Anne, Mrs William Tinkham (born 1861) and Joseph (born 1863). I think Joseph Thomas junior was a Mechanical Engineer. I wonder if anyone knows about him or his family? Mrs Tinkham's only son married my great aunt and lived at Looe. Judy Buckley
