Hi list! I'm trying to find more information on the ancestry and descendancy of a John Thomas who was born 04 Mar 1645 in New Haven, New Haven Co., CT - to unknown parents. He married Mary Blakeslee in 1677. Mary was born to Samuel Blakeslee and Hannah Potter on Nov 02, 1659 in Guilford, New Haven Co., CT. John Thomas and Mary Blakeslee (also spelled Blakesley) had 9 children: Hannah (b. 1678), Rebecca (b. 1680), Jeremiah (b.1684), Mary (b. 1687), Jonathan (b.1692), John (b. 1695), Samuel (b.1698, died young), Samuel (b. 1699) and Ebenezer (b. 1701). I should note that "my" John Thomas is not the John Thomas who married a woman named Tabitha, nor is he the son of this John Thomas, the John Thomas Jr. who married Lydia Parker. The are likely related, however I've yet to make a connection. . . both seemed to come out of either England or Wales, but I haven't been able to trace either line back any further than New Haven. My John Thomas died in 1709 in Woodbury, Litchfield County, Connecticut. Any info on this line would be greatly appreciated!
