Is anyone working on the James Thomas line from Fauquier Co. Va. He was maried to Margaret "Peggy"Stinson/Stephenson Feb. 29, 1788 (Fauquier Marr. & Bonds John K Gott.) They had one daughter Catherine. In Guardian Bonds of Fauquier Co. Va., John Martin, guardian of Catherine Stevenson , Orphan of James Thomas, dec'd 28 Dec 1807. Security: Tilman Martin NOTE with bond: "This is to certify that I make my choice of John Martin as my guardian this day to secure my property, which is as follows: one feather bed, one cow, and one mare. Dec. 28, 1807, Catherine stevenson, 18 yrs of age. Teste, Tilman Martin, Hezekiah Martin." JP Wm. Skinker. She married him the same day. If "Peggy" was her mother she was still living in 1815.and I understand that at that time the court appointed a guardian even if the mother was living and it was usually a male kin. My question is did Catherine have any siblings and if so what happened to them? James Thomas also put up bond for Elizabeth Stephenson (Margaret "Peggy" mother who was a widow of James Stephenson) marriage to John Moxley Dec. 29, 1791 (Marr. Bk by John K.
