I have two seperate THOMAS families. The one in ALabama is Nicholas THOMAS who was in the 1840 and 1850 census in Clark Co AL. I can not find his parents or his wife's family. I do know that in 1857 there was a trail and he was sent to prison in Coosa Co. He was let out during the 1860's and is home in 1866. After that he vanishes again. The second family is in Virginia,in a burnt county. Mary THOMAS married Rane WALKER or Rane DOSS in 1800 in Buckingham Co VA. I can find Rane's parents but can't find anything on Mary.
