I have very little information on RADFORD THOMAS of Amherst Co., VA. He married Sally Stratton in Amherst Co. on Feb. 7, 1825. The surety was Jacob Stratton. He was a farmer, and died sometime after 1880. The couple had the following known children: James Thomas, born abt. 1830; William Thomas, born abt.1833; Mary Thomas, born abt. 1837; Sarah Thomas, born abt. 1841; Mildred Ann Thomas, born abt. 1854; and Radford Thomas, born abt.1857. Mary Thomas married James D. Damron in 1856. Sarah Thomas married Fielding H. Wright in 1865, and Mildred Ann Thomas married Henry J. Proffitt in 1866. This last couple were my great grandparents. Is there anyone on the list who might have a connection to any of these people? I would especially like to know the parents of Radford and Sally Stratton Thomas. Thanks for any help.
