I have hit a roadblock in finding the parents or other information on my ggggfather,, William Thomas and/or his spouse, Mary. William Thomas was born in New York on 2 Nov 1779 and died 20 March 1850 in Millstone Twp, Monmouth Co NJ. He married Mary (unknown) who was born 1785 Pennsylvania. We do not know where the marriage occurred, whether in PA or NY, or when it occurred. We do not know when the family migrated to NJ, but we have some records showing Ezekiel was born in NY in 1806 and Sarah was born in NJ in 1812. William and Mary Thomas' children were: Lucy Ann Thomas Ezekiel Thomas b. 13 Oct 1806, d 26 Sept 1889 Monmouth Co, NJ (my gggfather) Margaret Thomas b 10 Dec 1807 m Joseph Smires Charles Thomas b 16 Aug 1809 Rebecca Thomas b. abt 1811 Sarah Thomas b 21 Nov 1816 William Thomas Jr. b 3 Oct 1820 d. after 1880.
