Hi all, I am writing the list to let everyone know that we are ready to get ourselves registered as a group project. At the moment I have 22 interested in participation. Several have voted for the 25 marker test. Most have not voiced an opinion but I think we can select individually as we order the kit. Rich Thomas has graciously volunteered to setup our THOMAS DNA web site. He & I have emailed back and forth and he has some very good ideas. We want the site to be informative yet easy to use so that our group as well as future Thomas researchers will find help. Another thing which was mentioned to me is a fund or contributions from anyone who would like to help financially for anyone who may want to participate but has limited funds. Because we "cousins" do not all know each other, I will handle those requests privately and just try to put people in touch with each other. Thank you to those who have volunteered to help. I have created a separate mail list for those 22 Thomas cousins who have expressed interest in participating. I have done that so that I can communicate what is happening with the testing process without loading down the THOMAS-L list. If you would like to be on that list, let me know. [email protected]
