I have been researching my family tree for way too long and been at the same brick wall for even longer. My Great Grandfathers name is Dyke Morrison Thomas born in PA. my grandmother was born in Iowa and she died in OHio, but my great grandfather was born in PA lived in Iowa and died in Missouri this is way to confusing to me becuase i cant find anything but his son whom is a JR. whom died in the same place as he did. can anyway tell me how i can go about finding archived messages on the rootsweb for this name. and if anyone can tell me anything on this name please do email me at [email protected] thanks in advanced candy __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I don't know if this will be any help at all, but I looked up Dyke Morrison Thomas on Ancestry and got the following off the 1930 census: At that time this person lived in Willoughby, Lake Co., Ohio. Dyke M. Thomas. age 41 b. Iowa, father born in Iowa, mother born in Ohio. Wife Florance J. b. Iowa, her father born in Missouri, her mother born in Indiana Children: Mable age 19 b. Iowa Cleo age 17, b. Iowa Dyke Jr., age 7, b. Iowa I know it doesn't jive with your Dyke being born in PA, and I don't know what your range of dates would be, but thought I would send it along anyway. Good luck with your search.
