Hello, I live in England and am researching my Thomas ancestors, I have been reading this list for a few months but this is the 1st time I have written in . I think the answer to your question is that when I knew where my family came from ,( Carmarthenshire Wales) I subscribed to the relevant UK county list .The people on these lists are usually very helpful and the listers can often help as some of them have a lot of local genealogical information.in addition to the name the are most interested in. I would suggest that if you want to find out about Wiltshire Thomases you could try the Wiltshire list [email protected] and for Risca at [email protected] you can of course find all the lists at http://lists.rootsweb.com/ under International then England or Wales or wherever you want. I apologise for suggesting lists in addition to this one, but I am subscribed to about seven of them. I hope this is of some help. Cheers .
