I know this is probably just a coincidence but my ancestors are the THOMAS and WATTERS family from Gower. They were from Cheriton/Llanmadoc. There was also a WATTERS family from Pembrokeshire that I am aware of though I don't believe we are related to them. The family believed that the WATTERS name originated in Scotland (Caspbell Watters) though I have yet to find evidence of this. Emma Monmouth
Emma, Has anyone in your family done the DNA thing? How far back can you trace these family lines? Maybe we can share notes to see if there is a connection.
