    3. Maybe you and others in your family who are interested in genealogy could share the cost of the DNA test. The test itself is very simple and totally painless and bloodless because all you do is use a test kit swab to rub inside your cheek, drop it into the provider holder, and mail it back to the lab. It would be so sad to miss this opportunity for the DNA test given your male Thomas relatives are elderly. Do any of these elderly Thomas gentlemen have male descendants that might be willing to participate? I'm an advocate of DNA testing for genealogical use because that is how my group of Thomases finally broke through a brick wall that we had been pounding on for thirty years and had finally concluded that our earliest known male Thomas ancestor had simply dropped onto earth from another planet.
