Hi Sybil, I don't know if this helps but I do have, in my fles, a Jesse Thomas as follows: Jesse Thomas, b 20 Feb 1792 in TN SC, m Lisha Unkown bef 28 Feb 1813 in Pike County, Miss, d 17 Dec 1867 in Pike County Miss, buried, Thomas Cemetery, Northside of Leatherwood Creek. This Thomas Family and their slaves are said to be buried there. His father was Benjamin Thomas, Sr. and mother was Sarah A "Sallie" Bethea. Jesse's siblings were Wesley Humble Thomas, Mary Humble "Polly" Thomas, John Humble Thomas, Elizabeth Humble Thomas, Jacob Humble Thomas, Francis Marion Thomas and Sara Margaret Thomas. If there is a connection please let me know and we can share more.
