I have no info on David Thomas, but was wondering if your David lived in Delhi, Hamilton County, Ohio? I am trying to track info on James Michael Thomas and he was born about 1829 in Delhi. On the 1830 census there were 3 THOMAS men: David, George and William. Going back to 1820 Census there were 5 THOMAS men: Abraham/Absalom?, James, George, David & William. By the 1840 census they were all gone. Gone where? I don't know. What I was wondering was..., if your David was connected to these fellows and then if my James Michael Thomas, I am researching is then connected to your David. I cannot figure out my James' parents. It has been a brick wall for quite a time. He was born in Delhi, served the civil war in Crawford County, Indiana; lived in Boone County Ky and briefly in Columbia Twp in Hamilton County Ohio. He dies in Clermont County.
