Aren't there two THOMAS family cemeteries? One on the Toe River - Roses Branch near the family farm house is a county park - and I've heard there is another one on another farm in the Micaville area. Hello Thomas Researchers, I'm researching John Thomas, Sr. and his wife Sarah ? that I find on the 1810 Darlington, SC Census. This branch of Thomases were born in North Carolina approximately in 1776 and 1783 respectively. They were married around 1800 and set up housekeeping in Darlington, SC. John & Sarah began having children in 1802. The children were: John Jr., Mary, Theophilus, Catherine, Cornelius, Jemima, Delida, (twins), and Isaac.This John & Sarah Thomas moved to Pike County, Alabama in about 1828. There, they would have three more children named Sarah, William, & James Henry. I have the complete line from John and Sarah forward, but cannot get past Darlington, SC and the 1800 year. Some researchers say that Sarah was Sarah Britt from Bertie County, NC. Others claim she is Sarah Culpepper from Nash County, N.C., but nobody has documentation. These are my wife's GGG Grandparents.
