He and his son, David (b. 1820 in Wales) emigrated to SE PA (Philadelphia area) from Wales in 1822. David married an Ann Clayton. One of their children was my grandfather, William Thomas, who married Clara Schmidt. They lived most of their lives in Huntingdon Valley, Montgomery Co., PA. William and Clara had four daughters and one son: Ida, Anna, Mildred, Helen, and William Forest. Helen Thomas was my mother. I've looked into the name Seth Thomas.
