Hi All, I am interested in a William Thomas born March 1850 in Illogan Cornwall to a mother Mary Jeffery. There was also another son John born March 1846. William was my G-G-grandfather who came to Australia. Now I am wanting to research his mother Mary born October 1824 at Illogan to parents John Jeffery and Mary Crouthers. Hi - My William Thomases are not yours. Mine, father and son, were both born in Connecticut in 1810 and 1844. And I wish I knew the name of the mother of William, Senior. Heaven help all of us trying to research the THOMASES--it isn't John Smith, but close. Hi Kathleen, I know exactly what you mean about the name Thomas and just how many there were in Cornwall and especially around the Camborne, Illogan area. Good luch with your searching.
