I am looking for Info on my G.G. Grandfather, Samuel J. Thomas (aka James Thomas) b. 1827 In VA. His Sister, Elenore Or Alendor “Posey” Thomas. B. VA. Md. Jesse Harp and settled in Kentucky. I know Samuel left VA, and went to Morgan Co, Indiana, and Married Mary Ann Stevens on January-17-1856. They had my G. Grandmother Martha Jane Thomas b. 1857 In or around Morgan Co, Indiana, and then moved to Claiborne Co, TN In the middle 1850s. Then they had a son James Thomas, born abt 1860 TN or Possibly Indiana but most likely In TN. And their other (Thomas) children: John b. 1864, Andrew b. 1865 were born in TN. Samuel's first wife, Mary Ann Stevens (b. 1849 In Indiana) died sometime around 1866 In Claiborne Co, TN. Samuel Married 2 more times, wife # 2 was Anna Yadon, aka Yaden, TN.
