I just found out that 3rd GG Grandmother Catherine THomas was born in Bertie CO, NC. Her name is Catherine Thomas. She was born aby 1803. She married James Adams abt 1824 and had John Quincy Adams than Samuel Madison Adams and Barsheba Adams in NC there may have been a Josiah and a WIlliam and a Jefferson too that may have died as infants. They went with folks from Clairborne Co TN in a wagon train about 1837 to Ray County MO. These folks settled in the NW corner of Ray county. I am hopeful that I will be able to find a family for Catherine Thomas. Rose Adams
