I've "rescued" an old photograph of Orrin SMITH which was taken at the W. V. Lane Studio in Camden, Maine. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Orrin appearing to be about 12 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research and thanks to some SMITH Family Researchers I have been able to gather the following information regarding Orrin and his family: Orrin F. SMITH b. 19 Mar 1877 in Knox County, ME, the son of Leander Bradford SMITH of Vinalhaven, ME and Sarah Frances AMES of North Haven, ME who were married on 13 Dec 1867 in North Haven, ME. Orrin married Cora L. HOPKINS. His WWI draft card dated 12 Sept 1918 lists Orrin Frederick SMITH age 41 living in South Thomaston, ME with his wife Cora H. SMITH. Census records provide the following information: 1880 census of Vinal Haven, ME: Leander B. SMITH, age 36, born ME, a Farmer, parents born ME Sarah F. If you are a member of this family, or if you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
