I've "rescued" two old photographs belonging to the TITCOMB Family of Maine. The first photograph is one of John TITCOMB which was taken at the R. L. Roberts Studio in Farmington, ME. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870's or 1880's with John likely in his 60's at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has also written "father of Walter TITCOMB" on the back of the photograph. The second photograph is one of Hiram TITCOMB, this one taken at the J. Warren Merrill Studio in Farmington, ME. This photograph was also likely taken in the 1870's or 1880's with Hiram appearing to be in his 30's at the time it was taken.
