My gg-grandfather was Dixon Thomas and one of his daughters Emily Thomas married R. T. Thomas. Are these you familes? Have you every corresponded with Linda Balsavage or the late Tom Sikes? Cynthia, After rereading you e-mail on the two Thomas family I not sure which two family are yours. My gg-grandfather was Dixon Thomas and one of his daughters Emily Thomas married Riley T. Thomas. Riley T.'s father was Ryal B. Thomas. I am not sure was relation Dixon Thomas was to Ryal B, Thomas. I know that Ryal B.'s mother was Sarah Thomas and died after 1850. One of there sons was Spencer b: 1877 d: 1955. Spencer's and Hagen had at least two children Ralph Waldo Emerson (b: 1906 d: 1951) and Balsy (b:1912 d: 1999). Spencer and Ralph are buried in Brandy Branch cemetery in Nassau Co., FL Balsy is buried in Riverside Memorial Park Cem., Duval Co., FL.
