Guess I'm getting discouraged again. I was on this list once before. It seems like all I see are Thomas researchers searching for Thomas ancestors in the North which is fine - it's great! But aren't there any Southern Thomas researchers online? Anybody searching for Thomas families in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi? Maybe South Carolina? I have not been able to find out who the parents of my great grandfather, John L. THOMAS, were. John L. was born in 1820 in either Lincoln or Wilkes Co., GA. Is there anybody out there who knows anything about those two counties with any suggestions as to how to find out who John L.'s parents were?
