Hi, Thanx to Betty, i learned that there are some problems with the new version of Family Tree Maker 5.0. I haven't used my program enough to encounter any of those problems, yet, but i went to their site and was able to download an upgrade free of charge. The upgrade is 5.0b and it is supposed to correct any problems that we may have with 5.0 or 5.0a. It took me about 15 minutes to download 5.0b and it setup fine. Thought that some others may want to download the upgrade, too, before they start experiencing problems with the program. Just type in http://www.familytreemaker.com & it will take you to the upgrade. Pat
