Thank you so much for stepping forward with a positive comment. I hesitated because I felt this subject was slightly off-topic. I, too, feel that the software program is one of the best on the market. I have also purchased *several* of the CDs. While some of them have had tons of information on several of my lines, I also have several lines to which they do not apply. This is an area in which no one can make a prediction. I have also ordered *tons* of films from my local LDS Family History Center, which have an associated cost (although minimal). From the catalog description, many of them seemed to have information applicable specifically to my research, but when I actually got the films, they did not. It certainly *never* occurred to me to "blame" the Family History Center. In my opinion, this is what some people seem to be doing in regard to the FTM CDs. Family Tree Maker repeatedly states it's no-questions-asked return policy on *opened and used* software. I have returned CDs and they honor their policy. What further steps would you have them take? -Annette ----- AnnetteAllen@juno.com For any attached files use: aallen@pacbell.net See my homepage at: <A href="http://home.pacbell.net/aallen/index.html"> Reach or page me at ICQ: <A href="http://wwp.mirabilis.com/14988389"> Send E-Mail directly to my computer screen using: 14988389@pager.mirabilis.com ----- On Fri, 5 Feb 1999 00:57:36 EST Sundea2@aol.com writes: >I have been reading the messages posted about Family Tree Maker CD's. >I agree >wholeheartedly about thoroughly documenting the CD's information.
