Hi--I saw your note regarding Daniel Thomas born in Bristol and was wondering if there could be a connection to my William W Thomas b 1857 in Bristol. His father was Amos Henry Thomas and mother Rachael Elizabeth Prosser. I found William in the US in 1879, but have no information about him prior to that. His wife was Welsh, and considering Bristol's proximity to Wales and the fact that Prosser is a Welsh surname, I have always wondered if they lived there at some time. William was a farmer in the US.
