Happy New Year to all THOMAS members, Some time ago, I posted this list of marriage licences from the New Jersey Colonial Documents book that I got from the FHC. Hope it helps someone discover their ancestors and not confuse the problem. Maybe there's a person that you recognize here?? My David THOMAS married Margaret LUCAS. David's one brother may have been Timothy, who married Margaret's sister, Elizabeth LUCAS. David and Margaret begat Thomas THOMAS, who married Mary Ann GRIMES. They in turn moved to Westmoreland Co.,PA and begat 12 children, ten of whom had children. Hence, the source of my grandfather's genealogy book. The one question that I have is Thomas THOMAS may have had brothers and sisters that I have no knowledge of, who may have gone to Westmoreland Co., with him around 1788.
