All are for surname Thomas 1766 William; John 1768; John 1770; 1772 John; 1776 John; 1780 James; 1782 William; 1785 William; 1796 John. If any of these is of interest let me know. I have been trying to make a connection for William Henry Thomas, b. 1818 in Va., no county known. He married twice in Alexandria, and it is there he is buried. My interest was in John Thomas, Capt. in Va. Navy during Rev. War. He died in 1796. Wife, Margaretta, children John, Betsy, Ailsey (Alice), William and Thomas. Will names Seth Blundon as guardian for Betsy and Elisha and Jesse Harcum for children by my present wife. Marriages of Betsy(Parsons) and Alice (Wills) recorded in Alexandria, Va. with William attesting age for one sister and Thomas for the other. There is record of John Thomas who died, Fairfax Co., Va. in 1818 but have nothing which indicates he is one I seek. William Thomas and John Parsons were his administrators. Thomas Thomas is ruled out as I have records on him to his death in Washington, D.C. If this family is connection I seek, it means that either John or William is the father of Wm. Henry Thomas and William were in Fairfax Co., then Alexandria, Va. and both in Washington, D.C. by 1851. Interred next to Wm. Henry is a Margaret Thomas, d. 1815 age 49. Possible she would be mother of Capt. John's children and grandmother of Wm. Henry but I have nothing to make the connection. So guess I have not been of much help to you. Eunice
