I am researching the line of Thomases noted below. According to what I have, Giles Thomas (1763-1842) of the Baltimore/Harford Counties area enlisted in the Maryland Militia at age 16 and continued with General Green's command until Yorktown. His sons moved to the Valley of Virginia, and Giles spent his later years with his son in Blacksburg, Virginia. "Family history" indicates that the line from Giles Thomas to the present is probably accurate, but I am eager to have confirmation of that and of my efforts on the older generations.
