Need help on A.M. (Abraham) Thomas b/1860 in Pa (parents b/PA. also according to 1900 Marshall co. census.) m/Lydia J. in Benwood Union District 1885. Lydia b/in 1864 Marshall co. WV. Family history was that her surname was HUGHES. However in locating this family in the census; It seems that there is a possibility that it was EBELING. and that Lydia's mother Rachel C. second marriage was to a John HUGHES in 1888. This John HUGHES is listed in 1900 census as born in PA. And Lydia's data is father born in Germany, mother in Ohio These two families (John Hughes, Rachel, and three EBELING. children 24, 20, &16) (A.M. THOMAS, Lydia & children...Myron Earl, Edna Bell, my gm,,Carence (sp?), Mabel, Vida, Willard D. & Lethia) live next door to each other according to the 1900 census.
