To all of you who have requested and gotten an answer from me on your Union heroes: If I found your ancestor I attached a Word file with photographic copies of the original Roll of Honor pages. They may or may not be readable when you get it. They are a really nice add to your file, as they are the original source documents for the soldiers rank, company, regiment, date of death and burial spot. They were written in 1866 by the Secretery of War's office, and have a nice preface and description, along with some neat words about the "Rebellion". If you find you can't read it, and you want it, I will fax it to you if you have a fax available, or US Mail if you send your address. Your response has been overwhelming, I am glad to help so many, as so many have helped me in the past. Candy
