I have Michigan THOMASes. They settled in Kent County. More specifically my great-great-grandfather was Abner Davis THOMAS who settled in Bowne Township (Kent Co.) around 1850. I believe his brother Jonathan settled there around then, too. Abner and his wife Laura Almena KENT had 11 children, 5 of which were boys, carrying on the THOMAS name.
