We have recently returned from a genealogy trip to KY and IN to trace the Burris Reed and John Thomas families who lived in Monticello, KY until 1833, then moved to Morgan Co., IN and in 1850 to Warren Co., IL. We have not been able to trace John Thomas. He owned land in IN but can't find a trace of him moving to IL. Can't find any death record for him. He married Jane Reed (second wife), the mother of his son-in-law. Does anyone have a Reed/Thomas/DeHart connection? (Burris' sister Pamela Reed married Martin DeHart and they too lived in Morgan Co., IN.) Mary Reed Macomb, IL
