I'm crossposting to several lists (something I normally don't do but I am desperate!). Looking for anyone who has info on THOMAS of German extraction. I have: Gottreid Thomas d. 1818 married Anna Maria ? Michael Thomas b. 6-16-1797, Rebuck, PA d. 3-16-1860, Jefferson Co., PA m. Lydia Delp John George Thomas b. 1-30-1819 d. 1-31-1881 m. Elizabeth Spangler Jacob Thomas b. 11-11-1844, Jefferson Co., PA d. 7-31-1929, Clay Co., WV m. Christena Reitz I have the maternal lines pretty well filled in on Reitz, and later, Procious (Brosius), but have hit a real roadblock on THOMAS. I've not completely discounted the possibility that these German THOMAS'S may have migrated through England, Ireland or Wales, but I do know that the family Bible passed on to a cousin of mine is in German, with all the writing contained in it (minimal) also in German. Any help on this particular line would be much appreciated! Mark Thomas
