Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a long time and have not provided my Thomas line for quite some time. What I have follows. I can get as far back as my gggrandparents but have no more info beyond that. My Thomas line was in Amherst Co., Virginia. My ggrandparetns were W.E. Thomas and Ellen (last name unknown) They had at least one son named Louis Nelson Thomas who married Cora Lee Chenault of Appomattox Co., VA. Louis and Cora had twins in 1898 where only one survived past the age of one. This is my grandfather who is named Alfred Clark(e) Thomas. Alfred married Lola Hackworth. My best guess on Louis birthdate would be early to mid-1870's with W.E. being around 1850. I know that at some point in time this line came from Tennessee but don't know what part or when.
