Hi, I am searching for an ancestor named CHARLES THOMAs, born abt 1739, location unknown. He married JUDITH PATTERSON RIPLEY (possibly) around Appomattox, Virginia. Charles and Judith came to Henry Co, Va. (now Patrick) around 1765. I found a history published in 1918 stating that Charles's Family came to America from Wales and settled in Maryland, before migrating to the Appomattox area. Charles and Judith had 12 children: Charles Jr., Joseph, Cornelius, Richard, John, Pleasant, Nicholas, Susanah, Mary Polly, Jane, Nolen, and Joab. Does any one have any leads on this family?
