Am looking for information on any Thomas families in Georgia. My William Thomas was born about 1790 in Georgia. He later went to Alabama around 1840. He was a shoemaker, so maybe he learned the trade from his father. He married Lucretia ? in Georgia and is probably his second wife. Only children I have for him is William, Jr. and daughters Deborah Elizabeth and Matilda. William, Jr. was born in Georgia in 1827 and the girls in Alabama.
