I am trying to gain information on my great grandfather, Julius W. Thomas, born July 1866 in Md (county unknown) and married Eva M. (last name unknown) (Born August 1866 in Washington, D.C.) approx 1886 in Washington, D.C. Their Children: Richard J. born July 1888, Bessie M. born Nov 1890, Eva Gertrude born July 1893, Robert C. born Nov 1895, and George S. born August 1898. All children were born in DC Would someone please check the 1870 & 1880 MD census index to see if THOMAS, Julius W. b. 7-1866 is listed and tell me what county? My library does not have the index.
