Here's some interesting information from the VIA-L rootsweb list. Perhaps this will help with the THOMAS line. Sue Bishop X-Mailing-List: <VIA-L@rootsweb.com> archive/latest/1521 Resent-Sender: VIA-L-request@rootsweb.com Here's some more information I've found on the Moon family. This stuff can really make your head spin. Notice the name Littleberry....sounds familiar. And the name Diuguid. Regarding the Diuguid family.... 1764 List of Tithes, Buckingham Co., Va.: Anne Duiguid, Charles Patteson, Richard Bennett, and David Via (Squire, Harry, Doll, Sarah, Chole, and Lucy) 9; 1750; 0 The first number is number of persons in the household, second number is number of acres. The names in brackets are slaves. And then there's Col. William Horsley Goodman. He must be related to Roland Horsley who's daughter Elizabeth married Charles Goodman (in 1761 Micajah Via was a witness to a deed where Roland gave a slave to Charles Goodman..it being part of a marriage contract) I believe the above David Via mentioned with the Diguid family was the son of John Via b. ca 1710 of Buckingham, and Amherst Counties.
