I have been attempting to research the Thomas Family of Greenbrier County, West Virginia. I have had many helpful people provide me with information, which I have used to create the Descendancy Chart of this Thomas family. Notes for Almony Andrew Woods Thomas: Andrew Woods Thomas born on site of Ruffner Hotel in Charleston, West Virginia. When 1 year of age, his mother Nancy deposited $800 in bank to be paid to him when he became of age. Nancy died when he was about 18 months old and was buried at Sissonville, West Virginia. At her death, Miss Jane Thomas of Lewisburg, took him to raise him. She later married George Morris. When 19 years old he moved to Peterstown and lived with his aunt, Agnes Dunn, until his marriage on December 27, 1893.
