Hi, this is my first post to this list (I am on others). I have so little to go on, I am hoping someone out there knows brothers/sisters. Scott Harrison Thomas, b. 1835 d. 1923 I know not where he was born or who his parents may be. He is buried with Civil War/Grand Army of the Republic marker in Garnett, Kansas cemetery He married Mary Caroline McLaughlin b. 1841 d. 1904 She also is buried in Garnett, Kansas cemetery They had 7 children: George ??? Laura b 6-8-1858 b. 4-29-1914 she married Warren Walter Reed b. 11-11-1856 d. 7-6-1937 De Mott (my grandfather) b. 11-25-1864 Mt. Vernon, Iowa, d. 1947 DeMott married Caroline (Carrie Helena Farnham) in Mt. Vernon Iowa 2-26-1898 Carrie was the daughter of William G. Farnham Mary Baker (a Record of marriage -certified lists her as Patrick,) Benjamin b. 1873 d. 1959 John (I do know he also is buried in Garnett, Kansas cemetery) Rose E. b. 1876 d. 1923 Arcie ????? I do know that Scott served in the 24th Iowa Volunteers in the Civil War and I am awaiting pension records as I type. Any help you might give will be greatly appreciated. Mary Wright Benjamin
