My lost THOMAS gg-gf. was Abraham. My maternal gm Edna Bella THOMAS b/1887 died 1929 in Benwood, W.Va. (near Wheeling). She had a brother Ralph. My mother was 11 years old at the time. She has told me about living with her g-parents Abraham and Lydia HUGHES at Short Creek. Thus my search has taken me to Short Creek, Brooke Co., W.Va. Supposedly he died at Cherry Hill, Short Creek, Brooke co. WV. (However, there is a Short Creek in Harrison Co., Ohio) My gf, Edna's husband, Clement Thurman GIVENS was b/1884 Captina, Belmont Co., Ohio. . Unfortunately, I wasn't interested when she was with me. Now....OH well. The usual tale of woe. Does any of the names, dates, or places connect with anyone? Thanks for your time. Audrey
