I am seeking the father of James Thomas, born NY in 1790s, married Harriet Wheeler 1815 (location unknown), lived in Fayette Co. until 1843, lived in Madison County in 1850, buried in Fort Cemetary, Fortville, IN. With James born in NY, and Minor Thomas living nearby in Fayette Co., I am wondering if Minor is the Minor Thomas who founded and was first minister of the Covert Baptist Church, Covert, Seneca Co.
