He was born WFT Est. 1841-1861, and died WFT Est. 1875-1947. She married (2) ROBERT STEWART LEMON, SR. Abt. 1878 in Missouri, son of JACOB LEMMON and ANN SCHOOLER. He was born November 07, 1834 in Pike Co.Missouri, and died April 07, 1904 in Denison, Grayson Co., TX. Notes for MARTHA 'MATTIE' THOMAS: It is widely believed that Martha (Mattie) Thomas was the daughter of full blood Indians. She was reported to show that she had Indian blood, but to this day we have not been able to find out exactly who her parents were. Land records in the Court House in Fannin Co. Texas contain several deeds showing Robert Stewart Lemon and Wife Martha Thomas buying and selling land Southeast of Bonham near Ladonia during the period 1880-88.
