    2. The Stoddards
    3. Hi Harry, I'm interested in your family. About 1746 three brothers arrived in NJ from Wales. One was David, who lived in or near Wellingburough, Burlington Co. David was married to Margaret Lucas I believe and I have record of one son, Thomas THOMAS born 30 Jan 1761. There may have been more children. At aged 12 Thomas was apprenticed to a tanner by his mother which makes me suspect that David was dead. later Thomas Thomas served in the Rev. War, then received property in Rostraver Twp., Westmoreland Co.,PA as pay. The other brothers left NJ and moved to North Carolina and Virginia, I believe. Where is Mt. Holly in relation to Wellingborough? Jan <chuckles@iserv.net>

    3. Hello Mary, I don't have anything for your request, but do you by chance have parent or sibling info for your John? My 4th Great-grandfather is Elisha THOMAS born July 25, 1760 PA died Dec 25, 1834 Wayne Co., KY. Elisha married Alice GLASCOCK in Farquire County, VA June 1, 1788. He later moved his family to Wayne County, KY. Many of his children were born and/or married and/or buried in Monticello, KY. I have a fair amount of information on Elisha and his descendents, but have been unable to identify parents or siblings. I am certain some of his siblings moved to Wayne County along with him. 3. I am looking for a John THOMAS born in VA who I believe died in Warren County, KY. My GGG Grandfather Samuel Proctor THOMAS, John's son, was born in Bowling Green, Warren Co., KY in 1830. I am not sure of John's date of birth & also do not know his wife's name. Do you know the names of the children of your John THOMAS? The other thing I am not sure of is if my John THOMAS actually moved or was always in the same place-since KY became a state in 1792 & was part of VA before that--?? Thanks!
