    2. Hello Listers Please come visit my website at @ http://hometown.aol.com/jjrmccomb/index.html or, just click the link below my signature. Also, please come and join the MacThomas and McThomas mailing lists at rootsweb.com. There are also MacThomas and McThomas message boards there aswell. `McComb` and `MacThomas` are the same name, just anglicized. ``It all seems to be MacIntosh`` and on up through MacDuff.( but there are alot of clans who also claim the rights to the names and septs of `Clan MacThomas`.. Clan `Campbell`, Clan `MacTavish`, just to name two, theres many more .The Irish `MacHones`(probably `Mathesons` originaly) also suppport names like `MacCombie` etc. Who are they? Are we them ? Are they Irish or Scottish? Maybe Scotch~Irish.. For the McCombs coming from Scotland, anyone holding any sources showing the McComb migrations and stay `while in Ireland`, (possibly taking part in the early Ulster Plantations, preferrably around the time of Cromwell ) would be invalueable, please send my way. Ship records have also proven to be hard to find. Enough for now, hope to see you all on the website and the lists.
