I noticed the following e-mail from James and tried (unsuccessfully) to send a response to him directly. Unfortunately I seem unable to post a thread response. So, if James is still there... I have a copy of a portion of a Ship's Passenger list that I think is probably from the same ship -- the West Point. The person we were searching arrived in New York 19 June 1852. The Port of Departure was Liverpool. The place of origin of the ship was Ireland. Further details - which may lead you to find your ancestory: Microfilm Serial M237 Microfilm Roll 114 List Number 754 Port Arrival State New York Hope that helps! Passenger number 348. Date Sworn is 19 June 1852. I am trying to get more information on this ship as follows: Where did the ship leave from? Is the name of the ship Liverpool? What date did it leave? What date did it arrive? Are there any records the Port of New York would have that might help? Thanks Jim
