Hi, I am looking for any information, particularly on the owner/s of the ship Emily" which carried male convicts to Australia. I believe one owner was a David Halket but the Lloyds register only has this information on owners after 1876/7. 1842 - It sailed from London, Sheerness on 28th June, 1842 to Hobart, Tasmania and arrived on the 24th November 1842 1844 - It sailed from Dublin, Ireland on 14th July 1844 to Hobart, Tasmania and arrived on the 29th October 1844 Any help would be appreciated.
